Quickbird

The Quickbird satellite was lauched in 2001. Much of the high resolution imagery used by GoogleEarth was collected with Quickbird.

Quickbird captures four multi-spectral band and a higher resolution pan-chromatic image. High resolution color images are produced with pan-sharpening, resulting in products with 60 upto 100cm resolution.
